Bedlam Victory Gives Oklahoma State Big 12 Conference Title, Automatic BCS Bid
With a dominating 44-10 victory over Oklahoma in Saturday night’s edition of Bedlam in Stillwater, Oklahoma State has clinched the Big 12 conference’s automatic bid to a BCS bowl.
The Cowboys finish the season 11-1 after their victory over the Sooners, and would likely have the biggest gripe with an Alabama-LSU rematch in the BCS title game if that is to happen and the Cowboys were to be left out.
The Cowboys are led by quarterback Brandon Weeden and wide receiver Justin Blackmon, who both had spectacular seasons in Stillwater, helping coach Mike Gundy’s squad rise to national dominance.
Oklahoma State was long favored to make its way to the title game, but a shocking loss to Iowa State a few weekends ago, the Cowboys hopes were hit and hit badly.
But nothing is for certain. 174 voters will have the opportunity to give Oklahoma State a shot at LSU, will they get it? Or will they be left to the Fiesta Bowl as the Big 12 conference champions?
Only time will tell. Or you can visit BCS Know How’s projections, due out later tonight.

Its this simple. #1 is LSU and #2 is A-L-A-B-A-M-A. You cant argue this. We went to overtime w/ the #1 team. Ok St lost to a 6 loss, thats right >6< loss Iowa St team. Dont give me that B.S. about tragedy the day of your game. You want tragedy? walk through central alabama on the night of April 27 2011. Hearing the screams of mothers trying to find thier children, hearing the moans of the dying, and walking past the dead. DONT TRY TO PLAY THE SYMPATHY CARD.
Ok St has a good team. Thats it, good. LSU and ALabama are great. Theres a reason the SEC has won 5 straight NC, and about to be 6.
Maybe next year. Our Defenses would rip into you like Charlie Weis into a bag of Potato Chips.
Roll Tide and Guex Tigers! GO SEC!!!!!!!!

Bama's signature win is a loss. Classic.
Tulsa's losses are to Okla. St., OU, Boise, and Houston. Tulsa has four great losses, so they must REALLY deserve a shot at LSU.

OSU has continued to raise the bar. I do not dispute that Alabama & LSU are 2 excellent teams. However, if OU had beaten OSU...we would not have to wonder if OU would get a shot with LSU. They have earned that by winning the BiG TWELVE CONFERENCE AND HAVE A SCHEDULE HAVE BEATEN MORE BCS RANKDED TEAMS THAN ALABAMA!!! MUCH MORE DIFFICULT SCHEDULE. BCS YOU TALK OUT OF BOTH SIDES WITH YOUR COMMENTS. WE DO NOT HAVE TO GUESS WHO YOU LIKE OR WHO YOU WANT TO WIN. OSU has set numerous new records! i heard you guys make fun of Les Miles over the years...but look at him now...I challenge you to be honest & fair and believe that when this happens the supporters regain their support of the BCS. But please do not think we are blind to the manipulation that goes on behind closed doors. If you want our respect and support, do what we teach our children, DO THE RIGHT THING AND YOUR SUPPORTER BASE, EVEN THOSE YOU MAKE MAD....WILL RESPECT YOU BECAUSE THEY WILL KNOW YOU HAVE HONOR AND FAIRNESS. OSU, ALABAMA, AND LSU
REPUTATION IS NOT ON THE LINE, YOU AT THE BCS REPUTATIONS ARE ON THE LINE. LIKE : LSU, NO MATTER WHAT, OSU WILL BE BACK! GIVE THE BCS SOME CREDIBILLITY AND QUIT MANIPULATING THE SYSTEM. SOMETIME..SOMEONE ON YOUR TEAM WILL EXPOSE THE BCS, SO JUST DO THE RIGHT THNG!

Mary you make no sense....I don't understand how anyone thinks osu has shot against either bama or Lsu....both bama and Lsu age over 39 pre per game till they play each other..osu is 4th or 5th in sec get over it

The plan and simple facts are OSU lost to a team not even ranked with 6 losses and Alabama lost to the No. 1 team that never lost... Bama should be in BCS title against LSU like it or not. BTW, if OSU was in the SEC they wouldn't be #3 because they would then be playing teams in the toughest conference and would have lost more than once.

I Dnt agree with OK state going cause they lost against a intakes team not to the #1atl LSU but Iowa St... who is that? And its ashame pp try to use a tragedy like that what about Arkansas player tragedy? No one wnts to talk about that...OK state is no match for LSU at all Wut a cake walk to the title game for them and if this does happens the bcs should change its name to BS cause that s what it is nobody wants to see s blowout for the title nobody does

I am a bama fan yes, would love to see a rematch in the bcs title game, but if it comes down to number 1 playing number 2 well maybe we should see how good osu really is let them play lsu see what the point differents is . It is then we willl all know who would be the best canidate for the title game

Reasons I would like to see lsu -v- osu
1. Les Miles was hired by lsu from guess where?
2. Who was Les Miles ¼B at OSU?
3. I think the coaching would be worth the watching.
Les never did anything that great at OSU except make a ¼B a better coach than himself!
