Keep Tabs on the College Football Playoff Debate with Our BCS Playoffs Page
Check out the BCS Playoffs page
Last summer conference realignment dominated the off-season headlines, and it got confusing. This season, realignment is certainly on everyone’s mind, but a more pressing matter has emerged, namely the real progress the BCS has made toward a playoff system.
The BCS commissioners and Notre Dame’s athletic director have come to the conclusion that a four-team playoff would be the best course of action for naming a college football national champion starting in 2014, when the next television contract starts.
But the details are fuzzy. No one knows how we’ll choose those teams, where we’ll play those games, or who will even be eligible. So we here at BCS Know How have created a landing page for all of your playoff information and needs.
Some news breaks? It’ll be there. It’ll also serve as a sounding board for you. We already have taken the temperature of the college football fan base and saw that a playoff was the only agreeable solution. But there was significant disagreement about how to implement it. As the commissioners and ADs make those decisions, sound off about it there, or here.
And make sure you’re keeping up with us @BCSKnowHow for all the latest news in 140-character dispatches.
