USA Today Coaches’ Poll Week Nine: Auburn Vaults Into Second Position
Despite wins from all four of the top teams, Auburn is able to leap over Boise State after the Tigers beat Ole Miss on the road on Saturday night.
The teams that did lose over the weekend, Missouri and Michigan State, see their stock slide in spectacular fashion, landing at No. 14 and No. 15 respectively.
Oregon only gains a single point after their victory over USC — moving from 1463 votes to 1464.
Alabama and Utah take advantage of the space vacated by Missouri and Michigan State, moving up to No. 5 and No. 6 in this week’s set of rankings.
