Watching the Heisman Watchmen Week Seven: Geno Smith retains support despite first loss
Could it be that Geno Smith’s hold on the Heisman race slipped when he and West Virginia were unable to even really hang with Texas Tech last weekend?
By all accounts, no, Smith is still the prohibitive favorite among national Heisman pundits, no questions asked. Sure, his stock may have fallen, but really, there isn’t anyone to replace Smith at this juncture in the season.
