Watching the Heisman Watchmen Week 10: The Race For No. 2 Heats Up

Andrew Luck holds on tight to the top spot in all of the polls, but suddenly we have a very interesting race for the No. 2 spot in the Heisman race, as well as new and surging candidates in Case Keenum and Brandon Weeden who could make plenty of noise in the closing weeks of this season.

With a chance to solidify his spot at No. 2 or even jump Andrew Luck in at least a few ballots, Trent Richardson didn’t put on the all-out performance he likely needed against LSU. As a result, Luck is well ahead of the rest of the pack. Kellen Moore even moves up into the No. 2 spot in a few ballots this week, leaving room for the winningest quarterback in FBS history to possibly make a late run at the trophy.

Off to the races!
