Watching the Heisman Watchmen Week Seven: Luck Unsurprisingly Tops Early Heisman Race

Seven weeks in the books, and the Heisman race is finally concrete enough to watch from an aggregate perspective.

With a clear preseason frontrunner in Andrew Luck, many Heisman analysts have stuck to Luck like glue in the early going, although Luck’s candidacy lacks a certain fire other Heisman winners have enjoyed.

The rest of the current leaders are muddled together. Yes, Trent Richardson tops CBS Sports’ watch, but he finds himself as low as fifth at Sports Illustrated.

It’s still anyone’s trophy to win (or lose).
